PhreeqcRM LNK2019 error

Hi Experts,

I am trying to build PhreeqcRM-3.7.3-15968 on Windows, without any change.
I follow the steps in README, using Visual Studio 2017 with Intel C++ compiler, and I got LNK2019 and LNK2001 unresolved external symbol errors, like that:

Has anyone ever faced this problem?
How to solve it, please?

Hi ChristopheC,

Would you mind providing the version of CMake and the version of the Intel C++ compiler you are currently using, please?

Also, if possible, could you upload the cmake cache file 'CMakeCache.txt'.  It should be in the top level of the build directory.

Thank you to reply.

I use the latest release of CMake: 3.26.4.

For the C++ compiler, I'm not sure. I can only find 'Intel Compilers and Libraries' about compilers in the tools options of Visual Studio 2017 Pro and it's written: Intel C++ Compiler 19.2 (Classic 2021.5.0) and Intel C++ Compiler 2022 (oneAPI DPC++ 2022.0.3).

I have difficulties to attach the 'CMakeCache.txt' file.

Another information is that I succeed in building IPhreeqc-3.7.3-15968 with the same configuration.

Hi ChristopheC,

The cmake build was missing a preprocessor definition (IPhreeqc_EXPORTS) when (BUILD_SHARED_LIBS=ON) was set on Windows builds.

Please use the following hotfix:

https://github.com/usgs-coupled/phreeqcrm/releases/tag/v3.7.3-hotfix
