Title: Uraninit(c), what is (c)?
Post by: Vokysek on April 15, 2020, 08:46:39 PM
Hi,
in my result of phreeqc are minerals with index (c), what does it mean? They are mainly uranium minerals as Uraninit(c), U3O8(c), U4O9(c) or UF4(c). I know other mineral phases as (a), (d), but (c) not. Please can you tell me, what is it?
Thank you.

I think "c" represents crystalline, which would have a smaller (more stable) equilibrium constant as opposed to amorphous, disordered, or less crystalline forms.
