Is there a suggested parameter optimization driver that can work with PHREEQC on surface complexation models?

PHREEPLOT by David Kinniburgh can be used for parameter estimation and is based specifically on PHREEQC.

PEST is a general parameter estimation code that can be used with any model that reads input files.
