Reaction rate as output for different time steps

Hi,
I am trying to model calcite dissolution but the system is taking a lot of time in reaching to equilibrium with respect to calcite as compare to the published literature time. It means the calcite dissolution rate is very slow than what it should be. I want to check the reaction rate. Can you tell me BASIC function for getting rate in output graph or output file?
Thanks

Perhaps the surface area factor is not right. The rate expression in the databases changed at version 3. If you are using the database version for the rate of calcite reaction, look in the notes associated with the rate definition in the database.
KIN_DELTA("Calcite") / KIN_TIME will give the rate of calcite in moles/s. (Note that KIN_TIME does not take an argument. It is inconsistent in the latest documentation [web or PhreeqcI])

Hi,
Thanks. Yes the surface area was wrong. But still I have one confusion about the Calcite rate expression. Why there is a factor of 0.001 ( convert mmol to mol) if all activity of H+, CO2 is in moles and also in Kinetic block amount of calcite default is taken in moles. Then why this conversion factor is added?
Thanks for your time.

I believe the original rate expression was mmol/cm^2/s
