A failed installation experience

My computer system is Windows 11, 64-bit.I initially downloaded the phreeqc-3.7.3 version on my computer. In the previous fitting, I wrongly thought that the database of this version did not contain my species. So I deleted C:\Program Files (x86)\USGS. Then I downloaded phreeqci-3.8.6-17100.msi from the official website.
Phreeqci-3.8.6 created a new USGS file in C:\Program Files (x86) and successfully installed it. However, when I opened the software, it would always get stuck at the initial USGS interface and then the software would close.
Finally, I uninstalled phreeqci-3.8.6 using the files in phreeqci-3.8.6-17100.msi, and reinstalled phreeqci-3.7.3 on my computer with phreeqci-3.7.3-15968.msi. However, when I was installing, it prompted that the phreeqci-3.7.3 existing on the computer needed to be uninstalled or replaced. I choose to uninstall and then reinstall.
I'm not sure if this installation experience was due to my computer. Here I would like to describe my experience to you.

Dear yisongxu,
Would you be able to try the following version of PHREEQCI?
https://github.com/usgs-coupled/phreeqci/releases/tag/v3.8.7
(The msi file is at the bottom in the assets)
Based on the issue you've described, it's possible that this version addresses the problem. It includes a fix for an error that occurred when loading certain databases on Windows systems with the locale set to Simplified Chinese.
Please let us know if this resolves the issue.
Kind regards,
Scott

I'm very sorry. I may not be able to use Phreeqc for a relatively long time. If I continue to use it, I will give feedback according to your link
