Hi,

My name is Nessrin Morad Ismail. I?m a geologist currently pursuing my master?s degree in Hydrogeology and Hydrogeochemistry at Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany.

I recently joined the forum because I?m working on my thesis, which involves modelling the adsorption of toxic trace elements  on various iron (oxyhydr)oxides using PHREEQC and the Diffuse Layer Model (DLM). I?m still developing my modelling framework and hoping to connect with users who?ve worked on similar problems, especially surface complexation modelling.

As someone studying abroad, working independently on a modelling-intensive thesis, I truly appreciate platforms like this where knowledge is openly shared. I?d be grateful for any tips on how best to use the forum or where to post questions related to adsorption edge simulations and parameter fitting.
