Acrylic polymers
« on: 07/04/25 15:37 »
Good afternoon, dear colleagues.
Could you please tell me if this program can be used to determine the amount of polymer precipitate?
is it possible to specify the polymer here?
for example. hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile when interacting with mineralized water should give precipitate.
Or when polyacrylamide interacts with chromium crosslinkers a gel is formed.

Thank you.

Those species are not in any of the PHREEQC databases that I know of. However, it is possible to add new "elements" and species if you know the log Ks of aqueous species and precipitates.
