Mineral sediment
« on: 01/02/25 12:17 »
Hello!
Could you please tell me, if I specify all the fluid data in the input file and get the mineral saturation indices under the given conditions, say 0.08 and 0.04. Then I want to calculate the amount of mineral sediments in the end and use a block EQUILIBRIUM_PHASE like:
mineral_1     0 0
mineral_2     0 0
(with two zeros for this, assuming the saturation index is zero for the mineral to precipitate and considering it insoluble), is this the correct approach or should I use the saturation indices, which are calculated without this block (0.08 and 0.04 respectively)?

If you want to calculate how much of each mineral will precipitate to produce equilibrium, use the EQUILIBRIUM_PHASES data block with 0 0 for each mineral.
