Integration of PhreeqcRM into an Existing Flow and Transport Model in Fortran

Hello Parkhurst,
We are trying to integrate PhreeqcRM into our existing variably saturated flow to incorporate the geochemistry component. The model simulates the flow followed by simulation of contaminant transport component and we intend to link this transport component with the PhreeqcRM for geochemistry calculations.
Can you please guide us, how to get started with this integration. Like what is the best pathway to initiate the PhreeqcRM with the initial condition, update the geochemical conditions and concentrations with each passing time step, and adding sources and sinks for different components.

There are many posts in the forum. There are several versions of an advection example that are distributed with PhreeqcRM in the Tests directory. Start with the SimpleAdvect for the language that you program in. It gives the basic strategy for initial conditions, boundary conditions, and time stepping. A similar Advect example uses most of the features of PhreeqcRM. The AdvectBMI_ examples demonstrate the Basic Model Interface features of BMIPhreeqcRM.

Thankyou Parkhurst,
I will implement the methods covered in the example.
