Lithium geochemistry

Dear Phreeqc users,
I have a quick question.
Is it possible to quantify the amount of water that can potentially be released by clay mineral dehydration with Phreeqc ? If it is not possible with Phreeqc, are there other strategies you can recommend for quantifying this amount of water?
Thank you very much for your help

I don't see why you need PHREEQC. If you have a balanced reaction for the dehydration of the clay, you will have the number of H2O molecules that are released. You then only have to determine how many moles of clay that you have and multiply by the number of molecules of water per mole of clay.
