Hydrogen Storage in Sandstone reservoir
« on: 11/10/24 12:26 »
Hello, Good day.

My name is Seyi from the University of Port Harcourt and I am new to the group. I need help on how I can integrate long-term simulation into a sandstone reservoir for 30 years.
When trying to simulate a cushion gas in the reservoir, is it advisable to include it in the GAS PHASE block along with the residual Hydrogen?

I don't know about the Code aspect as regards the long-term simulations but I'm good with the SOLUTION and EQUILIBRIUM PHASES part.

Thanks in Advance.

There are many posts on the forum related to hydrogen storage. Use the search facility. Another keyword that may be helpful is "Hdg", where Hdg is an inert form of hydrogen gas. I think you will need to use this form and kinetically react it to simulate hydrogen reactions in the sandstone.

Alright. I will make my findings on that.

Thanks.
