Retain a certain percentage of CH and C-S-H as stable phases

Dear PHREEQC experts,

In the concrete carbonation experiment, some unreacted CH and C-S-H phases were identified in the carbonated concrete. Therefore, in my simulation using PHREEQC_RM, I need to retain a certain percentage of CH and C-S-H as stable phases while adding CO₂ into the chemical equilibrium system. Could you advise on how to preserve some moles of CH and C-S-H without fully decomposing them in the PHREEQC_RM calculation?

Thank you for your guidance.

Thank you
S.Sharmilan.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Is there some physical or chemical reason why the minerals do not react to equilibrium?

You can probably use RATES and KINETICS instead of EQUILIBRIUM_PHASES or SOLID_SOLUTIONS.
