Starting with PHREEQC
«

Hi,
I am a new user of phreeqc, and I want advice to learn how to use the software for modelling electrolyte solutions reactions/transport in the presence of calcite as well as the theory behind the calculations.
I just finished my bachelor's degree, and I have familiarity with thermodynamics, kinetics and transport phenomena.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

There are extensive manuals with examples, which are distributed with the code. The version 2 manual describes most of the pertinent equations and numerical method. The version 3 manual has additional equations not documented in version 2 and the latest documentation of input.
With PhreeqcI, the version 3 manual is available through the Help button at the top of the screen. The version 2 manual is located by default in the following directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\USGS\Phreeqc Interactive 3.7.3-15968\doc.
For the batch version of PHREEQC, the manuals are located by default in C:\Program Files\USGS\phreeqc-3.7.3-15968-x64\doc.
