How to add Water as a species and cause it to evaporate in the solution.
« on: March 31, 2021, 12:35:55 PM »
Dear ALl,

I am working on Inverse modelling of my data from Ghana. I am using inverse modelling to track the chemical changes along a potential groundwater flow path. My question is, how can I add water in the phreeqc interactive software and cause it to precipitate from the solution (evaporation of the water). The water species in the current Phreeqc interactive software is H2O(g). Is this the same as using water (H2O). Will I be right to precipitate H2O as a sign of causing the water to evaporate from the system?

Please your comments are welcome

Yes, you can add H2O(g) to the list of -phases to represent evaporation (or dilution). If you want only evaporation, you should specify precipitation only.
