Sorption and precipitation

Could you please help me.
Can this program simulates system where cation can sorb onto mineral, engage in redox reaction and precipitate.  Can it calculate how part of cation will sorb and how part of cation will precipitate in the same system.

Hi Annr,
Yes PHREEQC can make all these calculations according to the relative equilibrium constants.  You will need to carefully check the database you wish to use and be careful with the choice of sorption data as this is still an area of research (deriving the appropriate equilibrium data for surface complexation reactions).  PHREEQC includes sorption data for HFO but you can modify the data as you require.  Hope you get started OK!
