Hi all,
I have a question concerning your SOLUTION input and the amount of cells you define. I was under the impression that the every number in your SOLUTION accounts for 1 cell, e.g when defining SOLUTION 1-10, you have the cells 1-10 that contain this solution. However, your amount of cells apparently doesn't need to match it. If you define 7.5 cells in TRANSPORT, I'm not sure how your solution gets divided over these cells. Do these 7.5 cells have the SOLUTION defined in 1-10? And what happens to the solution 7.5-10?

The cells in your column is defined by TRANSPORT; -cells n, where n is an integer (not 7.5). SOLUTIONS 1 through n must be defined either individually or all together as SOLUTION 1-10. If the number of cells in TRANSPORT is less than 10, say 7. Then solutions 8, 9, and 10 are defined, but not used in the transport simulation.
Fine points. If flow is -backward, then solution n+1 flows into the column at cell n. If stagnant cells are used, then solutions n+2 and greater will be part of the flow system.
